Julie Carretero
Julie Carretero serves as an Associate Director of Novartis AG, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Basel, Switzerland with offices throughout the world. Ms. Carretero works in the company?s New Jersey location, building on more than 250 years of experience of creating effective and innovative drugs for improving the health of the people throughout the world. Julie Carretero chose this career in order to utilize her leadership skills and to actively contribute positive change to the wellbeing of humankind. Novartis? products include prescription pharmaceuticals, vaccines, diagnostic tools, generic drugs, and over-the-counter medications, as well as vision products and items intended for animal use. Focusing on her own health, Julie Carretero prioritizes regular exercise with a particular emphasis on running. Ms. Carretero further enjoys participating in competitive races, such as the Newbury, Massachusetts, Yankee Homecoming 5k. She has also raced in the Apple Harvest Run 5-Miler and the 18th Annual WCRC 5k Cross Country Turkey Trot in 2007. Living in New Jersey, Julie Carretero is currently training to compete in other races and hopes to beat her own best times. Julie Carretero holds a degree in history from the women?s section of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges, a service-oriented institution with a decade-long history located in Geneva, New York. On the 195-acre facility, Ms. Carretero developed numerous leadership essentials, management skills, and a powerful desire to make the world a better, more healthful place. She currently stands as one of fewer than 10,000 students that have graduates from the William Smith College.
