George Sandhu
As Managing Member of Palmira Advisors S.C., veteran investment banking executive George Sandhu runs a versatile wealth management firm with a substantial client base in the United States and Mexico. At Palmira Advisors since 2005, Mr. Sandhu brings more than two decades of relevant experience to his work, along with a rich background in hedge fund management. Today, George Sandhu steers his clients toward unique investment opportunities in commercial real estate, technology, and other growth industries, building an impressive record of client success in the process. Among the numerous deals handled by Palmira Advisors, Mr. Sandhu helped his clients obtain equity in the parent company of a popular Mexican manufacturer of artisanal home furnishings, orchestrated the purchase of a projected condominium development on Manhattan?s Lower East Side, and advised on the acquisition of a sizable loft building in the West Village. In addition to his work at Palmira Advisors, George Sandhu gives to several charitable groups in the U.S. and Mexico, including a clinic on the Pacific coast of Jalisco; Fundación Vargas, which helps children with mental and physical disabilities; and Habitat for Humanity International. Highly active in his free time, Mr. Sandhu enjoys playing tennis and golf, goes horseback riding whenever possible, and travels to various destinations around the world. Before joining Palmira Advisors, George Sandhu spent more than four years as a Senior Director at the International Investment Group (IIG), during which time he helped form the Target Growth Fund and managed the IIG Equity Opportunities Fund. Other roles held by Mr. Sandhu include Managing Director of Baytree Capital Associates in New York. George Sandhu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
